Renewable energies are rarely generated in the regions where they are actually needed, but rather where favourable generation conditions prevail. So electricity must be transported at short notice over long routes to where it’s needed. One key to meeting this challenge lies in the infrastructure for the major 380 KV and 525 KV power transmission lines. Modern technology, development of expertise and public acceptance have meant that power lines in Germany can also be laid underground if necessary. This work requires a high level of competence in both civil engineering and project management.

With almost 70 years of company history, PPS has this expertise – all combined with extensive experience in laying cable conduit systems, horizontal drilling, construction of special structures and pull-in technology. Among other relevant certificates, PPS holds the SCL certification: Safety Culture Ladder, Level 3.
