All media, all pressure levels, all nominal sizes – we uphold the universal PPS standard in plant construction. In terms of operation, the construction of gas and oil plants currently plays the biggest role. Many of our reference projects have made a significant contribution to secure gas supplies throughout Germany. Classic PPS projects involve plant construction for storage in and retrieval from caverns, and building plants in gas production and gas transfer, gas mixing and compressor stations or gas pressure regulating and metering plants.
The majority of our projects are closely related to gas transport. Our clients entrust us with the most important pipelines and facilities in their networks.
We plan, build, erect and integrate.
As head of production at our largest site in Quakenbrück, Germany, Manuela Holthaus organises a man’s world.
With her team of over 40 employees consisting of plant mechanics, fitters, technicians and welders, she is mainly responsible for the prefabrication of assemblies, station structures and plant segments. Nominal diameters from DN 25 to DN 1400 are handled here.
The range of services includes work execution planning, work preparation, manual and automated welding, quality control by means of the required test procedures and documentation. The assembly of individual sub-assemblies and complex systems is also part of the manufacturing area in Quakenbrück.
The German locations in Sande, Stade and Leipzig also have production facilities with special focus such as the processing of special materials in Stade. You can find out more about the individual manufacturing capacities from the respective contact-persons.
In addition to the planning and construction of biogas feed-in plants, PPS is dedicated to green hydrogen as one of the future sources of energy.
Together with energy suppliers, we develop concepts to make our contribution to the change in energy supply.
The combination of pipeline construction and EI & C engineering lets us achieve hydrogen projects from a single source.
